Keynote Video Interviews

David Fabricius opened the 2010 State Conference with Breakthrough to Excellence which provided a proven seven step system for shifting organizational performance to the next level of excellence.

David's Interview

Our lunch keynote was definitely the main event with Chet Cadieux sharing thoughts on QT's Focus on People for Competitive Advantage.

Just like all companies, QuikTrip must find a way to gain a competitive advantage. All of us learned in school that there are only 5 ways to gain such an advantage....the famous 5P’s of marketing which include: Products, Place, Promotion, Price, & People. At QuikTrip, we believe that an organization can only really focus on one (or maybe two) of the 5Ps. To try to really excel at more risks, at best, a fragmented approach to the business and, at worst, financial ruin. At QuikTrip, we focus on PEOPLE. All companies say that their people are their greatest resource but most companies don’t act like it. This session will give you a glimpse of how QuikTrip recruits, trains, retains, and motivates its workforce.

Chet's Interview

Our closing Keynote speaker was Libby Sartain with The New Consumer of Work.

Libby provided perspective on how business competes for talent today in a free global marketplace in which traditional definitions of job and employee are increasingly outmoded. As a direct result, HR leaders must also change traditional ways of working in order to maintain their central role in the organization of the future.

We unfortunately weren't able to get an interview with Libby.
