Welcome to OSCHRM
Representing over 2300 individual members, the Oklahoma State Council for Human Resource Management is the state affiliate for the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM.) Founded in 1948, SHRM is the world’s largest association devoted to human resource management. The Society has more than 250,000 members and is the global voice of the profession.
Support for the Human Resource Profession in Oklahoma
OSCHRM is a non-profit, 100% volunteer organization whose primary objective is to support and further the human resource profession in Oklahoma through education. We coordinate professional development efforts, and serve as the conduit for communication among SHRM and chapters as well as at-large members.
OSCHRM also serves as an “entry point” for human resource professionals new to Oklahoma or for those in an area not covered by a local chapter which are kindly refer to as “At-Large” members.
The state of Oklahoma has 13 SHRM affiliated chapters and those Chapter Presidents sit on the State Council. A State Director and executive committee manage the daily operation of the Council.
